The Clamor is an independent periodical publication and research collective with a focus on culture, art, history, and theory. Our goal is to foster a culture of communal education, critical thinking, creative production, and collective action. At a period marked by alienation, apathy, divestment from education, mass commodification of culture, and overconsumption, we seek to build new avenues for self-guided study, artistic expression, the democratization of knowledge, and a platform to openly articulate possibilities for a brighter future. First circulated in January of 2025 across Purdue’s campus through the collaborative efforts of a small group of student activists, we work tirelessly to educate, agitate, organize, and liberate——to stimulate minds towards engaging creatively, spontaneously, and to forge a new collective history by and for the people.
